Always not ejaculation

Patient's question:

Since 1998, I have not ejaculated.

Doctor's answer:

Hello!
If your situation involves not achieving ejaculation during sexual activity, it may be considered anejaculation. If you have the sensation of ejaculation but no semen flows through the urethra, it is likely retrograde ejaculation.
There are multiple causes for anejaculation:
1. Functional Anejaculation: During sexual intercourse, there is no sexual climax, no ejaculation, and no semen is expelled outside the body. Even if there is a sensation of climax, there is neither ejaculation nor semen discharge. However, there may be nocturnal emissions or emissions outside of sexual activity.
2. Organic Anejaculation: During sexual intercourse, there is no ejaculation, and no semen is expelled under any circumstances. It is accompanied by symptoms and signs corresponding to the primary disease, such as prostatitis, tuberculosis or tumors of the seminal vesicles causing obstruction of the seminal tract.
It is recommended that you seek medical examination and diagnosis as soon as possible for standardized treatment to avoid affecting your future quality of life!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
