I am a graduate student, currently in a relationship, and have a very limited and infrequent sex life. I am also particularly cleanliness-conscious. In October 2015, after taking a shower, I noticed some redness and swelling on my glans, along with a slight itch. I initially thought it was a mosquito bite and didn't pay much attention. However, the next day, I found that the area around my urethral meatus was swollen and a bit painful when rubbing against my underwear (I have slightly excessive foreskin, but I usually retract it to expose the glans).Subsequently, I visited many hospitals for tests, including urine analysis, and blood tests, prostatic fluid tests, and bacterial cultures from the front of the urethral meatus. However, none of the results showed any serious issues.
