Features: Ethnic regions are vast in territory, rich in resources, and exhibit complex and diverse natural conditions. They possess significant potential for economic development and serve as important bases for energy, raw materials, and key ecological environment remediation areas. These regions face numerous challenges, including economic development, ecological restoration, pollution prevention, and environmental remediation. Due to historical, geographical, cultural, economic, and environmental factors, it has become imperative for ethnic regions to establish a scientific development outlook and pursue a path of sustainable development! This book, starting from the fundamental theories of sustainable development and guided by the scientific outlook on development, combines practical conditions in ethnic regions. It applies the principles of systems theory to elaborate on the theoretical system, models, and evaluation index systems of sustainable development in ethnic regions, as well as the dynamic balance between population, resources, environment, and economic development in these areas. It explores strategies and countermeasures for sustainable development in ethnic regions. The book is composed of nine parts.
