Heart of Koreans (This is Korea)

Author: Li Yuning (Korean), translated by Zhang Nali
Publisher:
Publishing Date:
Features: This book is formed by adding some annotations to the Korean version of "This Land, That Breeze." At that time, the main content of the book was serialized in "Jingxiang Daily" for three or four months. The author would submit the impromptu writings of the day to the newspaper before the office closed each day. There were certainly many flaws and errors in it, but just like when a person is drunk, unordered language often reveals the truth. Therefore, the author did not make excessive changes in this book. The book mainly views Korea from the perspective of its customs and traditions. The author does not rigidly believe that his own opinions are entirely correct, but he believes that his neighbors, who share the same yellow skin and similar names, would not be indifferent to them. The author does not deny that he grew up in the dark of the night, in fierce storms, and in a terrible adverse environment. It is precisely because of this that all the content written in this book are those that have caused the author pain and are unforgettable sorrow.
