Features: This book is an academic monograph on the ancient history of Tianjin. Since the establishment of Tianjin as a walled city, there have been some works on its history, especially in modern times. However, research on the history before the city's founding remains relatively weak. Based on scattered materials from ancient classics and local chronicles, supplemented by a wealth of archaeological discoveries, this book outlines the history of Tianjin from its ancient origins to the time of its founding as a walled city. The book is rich in citations and substantial in content, holding high academic value.
