Features: In terms of the overall structure of the book, to provide readers with a concise understanding of the archaeological work on the bronze culture of Lingnan, Chapter 1 briefly introduces the history of bronze discoveries and research in the Lingnan region. Chapter 2 contains more text and focuses on the typological study of bronze artifacts unearthed in Lingnan, analyzing the origin, dating, and relationships with other cultures of various artifacts. Chapters 3 and 4 are the key chapters of this book. To compile a realistic chronological sequence of Lingnan bronze culture, Chapter 3 first addresses related obstacles, analyzing issues such as the starting time of Lingnan bronze culture, the dating of the "M" pattern pottery remains, the correlation with the dating of the Han tombs in Guangzhou, and the dating of the "qilin" pattern pottery remains. Chapter 4, based on the analysis of the cultural characteristics and dating of bronze tombs in Lingnan, compiles a chronological sequence of cultural development, and briefly discusses some reasons for the inaccuracies in the dating of previous remains. Additionally, since the study of Lingnan bronze culture is closely linked to the historical research of Lingnan during the pre-Qin and Qin-Han periods, Chapters 5 and 6 focus on the ethnic origins, social characteristics reflected, and relationships with other cultures of Lingnan bronze culture.
