Features: Managerial Economics is an English original textbook on managerial economics introduced to China. It was used as a training textbook as early as in the Sino-US Dalian Training Center and has long been favored and praised by domestic readers. The major feature of this book is its practicality. While exploring economic concepts theoretically, it uses various examples and simple numerical examples to illustrate their manifestations and applications in modern life. Moreover, this combination of theory and practice is integrated throughout the book. Another feature of the book is that it views the entire enterprise as a system, a highly cohesive organization. This allows readers to recognize that effective managers should integrate different professions such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and production. Additionally, the book is written in an engaging format. For example, each chapter begins with specific examples to introduce the main content, intersperses four "Managerial Applications" columns in the middle, and ends with a large number of questions and calculation exercises, greatly facilitating readers' reading and use. To meet the practical needs of bilingual teaching in China, while retaining the complete system of managerial economics, the adapter made appropriate to the original work. Out of 20 chapters, 6 were deleted, leaving 14 chapters. Additionally, to reduce students' workload, self-assessment questions and case studies were omitted. At the end of the book, some answers to calculation exercises are provided for students' practice. It is particularly worth mentioning that this book is accompanied by rich online learning resources. Readers can access them by logging into hirschey.swlearning.com, and teachers can also register to obtain additional teaching materials (such as detailed solutions to exercises).
