Can cerebral palsy in children be treated well?

Patient's question:

Medical history and treatment outcomes, I am a 16-year-old patient with cerebral palsy. Can cerebral palsy be treated well?

Doctor's answer:

Cerebral palsy, also known as cerebral palsy or brain paralysis. Cerebral palsy is a syndrome characterized primarily by motor and postural disorders, resulting from damage or injury to the brain before birth, during birth, or within the first month after birth due to the brain's immaturity in development. It often also exhibits secondary symptoms such as epilepsy, intellectual disability, and language disorders.
The cupping therapy for cerebral palsy involves selecting the following acupoints: Jianjing (GB21), Quchi (LI11), Shenshu (BL23), Huantiao (GB30), and Chengshan (BL57). The acupoints are alternated between the left and right sides, with treatment performed once every other day, each session lasting 3 to 5 minutes. A course of 10 sessions is recommended, with a break of 3 to 5 days in between.
