Difference between sperm viability rate and sperm motility rate?

Patient's question:

Please ask, today for the semen check (half a small cup of wine yesterday noon), manual check sperm viability was 60%, activity was generally, instrument check sperm motility was 46.94%. I want to ask whether this result has an impact on pregnancy? What should the sperm viability and motility reach to get pregnant more easily?

Doctor's answer:

Sperm motility refers to the percentage of sperm in the semen that exhibit forward movement. Since only sperm with forward movement can possess normal survival and fertilization capabilities, motility is closely related to the conception rate of female livestock. As a result, it is one of the primary indicators for evaluating the quality of semen. Sperm viability refers to the proportion of live sperm in a drop of semen. A normal sperm viability >85–90% can move directionally and climb 5 cm, with abnormal sperm.
