Features: This book provides a relatively comprehensive introduction to the new objectives of the Chinese language curriculum and the new concepts of educational reform, systematically analyzing the basic content, methods, and techniques of Chinese language teaching. According to incomplete statistics, there are now more than 80 different versions of "Chinese Language Teaching Theory" works in China, among which the more influential ones include: Zhu Shaoyu's "An Overview of Chinese Language Education in Middle Schools," Zhang Hongling and others' "Methodology of Chinese Language Teaching," "Chinese Language Education," Yu Yazhong, Editor-in-Chief, "Chinese Language Education in Middle Schools," Yan Liqin, Editor-in-Chief, "Introduction to Chinese Language Education," Yu Mancuan and others' "Chinese Language Teaching Theory," Li Ying, Huang Lisheng and others' "Chinese Language Teaching Theory in Middle Schools," Wang Shikang, Editor-in-Chief, "Chinese Language Teaching Methodology in Middle Schools," Su Likang, Editor-in-Chief, "Research on Chinese Language Teaching in Middle Schools," and so on. Contemporary famous Chinese language educators include Ye Shengtao, Lu Shuxiang, Zhang Zhigong, Liu Guozheng, and Zhu Shaoyu, among others. From 1924, when Mr. Li Jinxi wrote China's first monograph on Chinese language education to the present, nearly 80 years have passed. The name of this discipline has undergone different evolutionary processes, including Teaching Method, Teaching Methodology, Teaching Materials and Methods, Chinese Language Teaching Methodology, Literature Teaching Methodology, Chinese Language Teaching Methodology in Middle Schools, Teaching Materials and Methods of Chinese Language Teaching in Middle Schools, Chinese Language Teaching Methodology in Middle Schools, Chinese Language Teaching Theory in Middle Schools, and Chinese Language Education in Middle Schools.
