Publish Date: 2005-01-01
Features: This book selects 100 well-known Tang poems, including the recommended by the Ministry of Education. In a relaxed and innovative format, it provides detailed explanations and guidance to help young readers better understand Tang poetry, while also assisting parents in comprehensive tutoring. The book is divided into four parts:
1. Poems and Pinyin. We have added pinyin to the original poems. Due to varying interpretations of certain words in Tang poetry, we have chosen the most common understandings for pronunciation.
2. Poems Transformed into Prose. Instead of explaining the words in Tang poetry through annotations, we rewrite the poems as prose, integrating the explanations into the narrative. This approach allows readers to understand the poems as a whole while also providing a reference for exercises and exams that often require rewriting Tang poems into prose.
3. Poetic Appreciation. You can find answers to questions like "What makes a poem great" and "How to appreciate it" in this section.
4. Poem Stories. These may be stories about a particular poem, a poet, or general knowledge about poetry. In summary, reading these stories helps you learn more background information and, in turn, better understand Tang poetry.
