Features: About the Phoenix, the Chinese have many beautiful sayings: the king of birds; brings auspiciousness; symbolizes happiness. Legends are just legends, and "the arrival of the phoenix" is after all just people's beautiful imagination. In fact, who has really seen a real phoenix. However, today when we talk about this topic, we will have an image of a vivid phoenix in our minds, which is the Phoenix TV network soaring around the world of Chinese people. I have never been a fan of celebrities, and by nature, I don't like meeting strangers. As the saying goes in my family—afraid of strangers. So in the early days of Star Trip, when I interviewed Andy Lau, I was really a bit nervous. For this, I was almost no different from other entertainment reporters, trying to dig up things that people didn't like to talk about, hoping to get something when they hesitated and stammered, then feeling like I had succeeded. But I always felt this was quite awkward and uncomfortable. In the second half of 1999 and early 2000, I felt that Star Trip had started to mature. It found a unique and different way of talking with celebrities—leaving behind the old, vulgar and embarrassing interview style where reporters tried to extract something from stars. I realized that laziness leads to vulgarity, and vulgarity is easily pleasing, such as gossip. Doing these things doesn't require much thinking or effort.
