Left varicocele attention matters

Patient's question:

I recently don't know what's going on, my lower body is very uncomfortable, and I'm not getting morning erections anymore. Please advise what to pay attention to for left varicocele.

Doctor's answer:

Consider it to be varicocele. Those with asymptomatic varicocele do not require treatment, while mild symptoms can be managed with a scrotal support band or by wearing supportive underwear to lift the scrotum. Severe cases or those affecting daily life should undergo surgical treatment.
Daily precautions include avoiding masturbation, maintaining a light diet, avoiding spicy and stimulating foods, alcohol, seafood, raw garlic, prolonged sitting on soft chairs, and avoiding strenuous exercise. Undergarments should not be too tight, and cold or excessively hot showers should be avoided.
Do not ride bicycles to prevent compression of the testicles and perineum, which could worsen local congestion. Hands should not touch the area, even gently, as it is harmful. Additionally, avoid exposure to harmful visual stimuli to reduce local congestion. Do not hold in urine.
