Features: In recent years, China's personnel system reform and talent resource development have been continuously deepened. Selection and recruitment examinations, as an important means of objectively and fairly evaluating outstanding talents, have been widely adopted across various industries. Question setting is a key component of selection and recruitment examinations. For examinees, to stand out, they must be familiar with the basic content and methods of the examination. Examinations of different types, levels, and positions vary in content, scope, and methods. For employers and administrative departments, the quality of examination questions is directly related to the reliability and validity of talent assessment, as well as the success or failure of the examination, and directly affects the quality of recruited personnel. Therefore, both parties need a scientific and accurate evaluation platform. This book is organized and compiled by the Ningbo Personnel Examination Center. The center was established in 1994 and is one of the first professional institutions in China dedicated to personnel examinations and talent evaluation. While organizing over 60 types of examinations annually, the center also provides examination question-setting services and related research work across the country at the request of local and departmental authorities. In the past two years, the center has been invited to set nearly 700 sets of examination questions for various selection and recruitment examinations each year, reviewed tens of thousands of examination papers, and gradually established the "Ningbo Question Setting" brand, becoming one of the largest question-setting institutions in China with the widest coverage of question-setting fields. Some departments and examinees have repeatedly hoped that we could summarize our years of research findings and valuable experience to compile a series of relevant books. This book is the result of the dedication of many years of question-setting practice and research. To better serve every examinee and employer, the series of guidance books fully incorporated constructive suggestions from examination institutions across the country and candidates and absorbed the research findings of numerous question-setting experts. The book is divided into three volumes—upper, middle, and lower—and covers a wide range of disciplines such as politics, economics, management, law, science and technology, and humanities. It includes various question-setting models such as official document writing, administrative aptitude tests, policy essays, and interviews. The layout is designed with sections on frequently tested knowledge points, key and difficult points, and frequently tested questions, and it includes actual examination papers set for Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, and other regions. Therefore, this book can not only serve as a guidance book for various selection and recruitment examinations organized by local and departmental authorities, but also as a supplementary book for examinees preparing for the exams, and can also be used as a learning tool for government agencies, enterprises, and institutions to organize relevant training and for staff to expand their knowledge and improve their skills.
