According to a joint survey conducted by the School of Journalism at Renmin University of China and the National Institute of Japanese Language and Linguistics, urban residents in China remain enthusiastic about learning foreign languages. Among them, over 70% have studied English, and those who express a desire to learn foreign languages in the future still overwhelmingly choose English. However, many feel that English is too difficult and dull. In reality, this may not be entirely the case. The fundamental key to learning is to master one's native language, as the quality of native language learning directly impacts the outcome of foreign language learning. Additionally, language issues are essentially knowledge issues—only with rich knowledge can language be perfected, and expression be clear. To enhance learners' interest in studying and enrich their knowledge, we now present this series of English manuals to everyone.
