The trend of global economic integration, including international finance, has been strengthening. In the face of these new developments, it is urgent and important to recognize the development patterns of international finance from new perspectives, apply and develop basic theories of international finance, establish new management concepts, learn fundamental knowledge of international finance, and master internationally accepted operational rules and practices. To this end, we have newly compiled this textbook on international finance.
Looking at the brief history of international finance, it is an inevitable product of the development of world commodity and currency relations to a certain stage, formed and developed on the basis of domestic finance in various countries. It has evolved along with the development of social economies and commodity-currency relations in these countries, while simultaneously playing a catalytic and driving role in their social and economic development. However, in today's globalized world economy and knowledge-based era, international finance is undergoing leaps and bounds in theoretical development, management concepts, market size, business models, and instrument innovation. Therefore, during the compilation of this book, we have strived to reflect the current trends in the development of international finance, effectively present modern international financial theories, management methods, and tools that are internationally recognized, giving the book a sense of the times.
