Features: This book is a reference guide for students in science, engineering, economics, and management at ordinary universities, as well as for online university students, self-taught college students, and adult college students. Linear algebra is a compulsory mathematics course for many majors in higher education institutions. Due to the differences between the research objects and problem-solving methods of linear algebra and secondary school mathematics or calculus, beginners often struggle to adapt. Additionally, the course hours are generally limited, making it difficult to arrange problem-solving classes for guidance and training. Moreover, non-ordinary university students often lack adequate conditions for Q&A support. As a result, many students find the course challenging. To address this situation, this book provides multi-angle and comprehensive guidance. The preface addresses some comprehensive issues encountered by students during their learning process. Chapters 1-8 each consist of five sections: basic requirements, content overview, Q&A, typical examples, and synchronous exercises (with reference answers). The first three sections are conceptual, primarily clarifying the demonstration of examples and synchronous exercises, building a knowledge system, and improving problem-solving skills. The Q&A in the book and the comprehensive issues in the preface are all derived from online university students, adult college students, self-taught candidates, and ordinary university students, collected from Q&A sessions, homework grading, and online university discussion forums, making them highly targeted. The typical examples not only provide detailed solutions or multiple solutions to a single problem but also analyze the problem-solving approach through "analysis" before the solution or "notes" after the solution, summarizing problem-solving experiences. Especially, each typical example is designed with a "title" and an "overview of typical examples" is listed at the beginning of the book for easy reference. The three-stage self-assessment questions in the book are designed to accompany students' stage-by-stage review. To help students self-assess during their review period, the book includes 12 authentic past papers from recent years as self-assessment tests (10 of which were authored by the author). Like all synchronous exercises and stage self-assessment questions, all test questions are accompanied by detailed solutions or answers for the students to check and reference.
