Features: The "Synchronous Unit Practice" series published by Beijing Normal University Press has undergone 10 years of refinement and has become a top-quality teaching aid. Accompanying countless students, it has guided them through 12 years of basic education and into the halls of higher education. Today, in 2005, as the new curriculum reform in basic education is fully underway, Beijing Normal University Press has once again reviewed and adapted this "Synchronous Unit Practice" series. The updated series keeps pace with the trends of curriculum reform, updates educational concepts, helps students learn how to learn, systematically master the knowledge systems of various subjects, and enhances their ability to explore and innovate. At the same time, it is based on the "Full-Time Senior High School Teaching Syllabus" newly issued by the Ministry of Education in 2002, as well as textbooks in subjects such as politics, Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, history, geography, and biology, which have been reviewed and approved by the National Committee for the Examination of Textbooks for Primary and Secondary Schools. This series is designed for use by senior high school students and teachers across the country.
This series is written by curriculum developers and frontline teachers from experimental areas, based on their practical experience and discussions. The purpose of writing this series is to better reflect the overall goal of catering to all students, emphasizing foundational knowledge, popularization, and development. It strives to provide students with realistic, engaging, challenging, and illustrated learning materials, as well as time and space for hands-on activities, exploration, research, and communication. To meet the diverse needs of students' development, this series focuses on students' choices and individual growth, integrates important scientific thinking methods, fully demonstrates the formation and application of subject knowledge, and continuously enhances students' interest in learning, confidence, sense of responsibility, pragmatic attitude, scientific spirit, and innovative awareness. It strives for a "new" approach while highlighting a "practical" one.
This series takes the key content of each subject as its focus, targeting difficult and easily mistaken points to strengthen students' learning abilities in various subjects, with the aim of comprehensively improving their ability to analyze and solve problems. This series can be used as in-class exercises or assigned as homework. At the end of the book, there is an appendix with reference answers and hints for students to provide timely feedback and corrections. The answer pages are designed with cutting lines, allowing teachers and parents to cut them out for easier checking and evaluation of students' learning progress.
Due to the urgency of the revision and the rapid pace of curriculum reform, some ideas and concepts in this updated "Synchronous Unit Practice" may not yet align with the development of the reform, and there may be omissions in the writing process.
