This series is not just ordinary teaching aids or workbooks, but is designed to facilitate children's listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice during extracurricular activities, as well as to engage in various Chinese interest activities and comprehensive language practice activities, thereby enhancing their scientific and humanistic literacy. The overall organization of the series is basically compatible with the current primary school teaching system, and each volume is compiled based on the different characteristics of children's cognitive, psychological, and thinking development.
To better reflect the spirit of the "Curriculum Standards for Full-Time Compulsory Education in Chinese Language" issued by the Ministry of Education, this series has increased the emphasis on reading, language accumulation, and the cultivation of comprehensive language skills by widely absorbing new educational concepts, teaching philosophies, and teaching reforms. Following the principles of progressing from easy to difficult, gradual advancement, similarity in structure, highlighting features, and forming a sequential arrangement, each book is organized into groups. Each group includes reading examples, interesting exercises, knowledge and ability expansion, Chinese Language World, consolidation, accumulation, and application, Chinese interest activities, Chinese practical activities, and self-evaluation. Additionally, oral communication and thematic exploration are appropriately included. The major project arrangements are similar across volumes, but the training methods, key points, difficulties, and requirements for ability development still differ.
