Features: Synonyms refer to words in a language that have different pronunciation and written forms but share the same or similar meanings. Modern Chinese contains a large number of synonyms, among which those with identical meanings are called identical synonyms or equivalent synonyms; those with similar but not identical meanings are called near-synonyms or near-synonyms. Identical synonyms are mostly nouns, such as "mama," "mother," "day," and "daylight." Near-synonyms are mostly verbs and adjectives, which share certain commonalities in meaning but each have distinct characteristics in specific connotations, usage, or stylistic nuances. In terms of morphological form, some have entirely different morphemes, while others have one identical and one different morpheme. Additionally, some words have multiple meanings, each with corresponding synonyms that require careful differentiation. Synonyms are numerous and widely used, and mastering a certain number of them plays an important role in improving our reading and writing skills. To help primary school students correctly understand the synonymy phenomenon in Chinese vocabulary and enhance their language proficiency, we have compiled this "Primary School Synonym Sentence Handbook." This handbook has the following features:
1. Broad word selection range. In addition to words appearing in unified textbooks, it also selects frequently used and highly practical synonyms in Chinese language learning. The handbook includes approximately 1,600 sets of synonyms, primarily monosyllabic and disyllabic words, with some polysyllabic words included as well.
2. Example sentences and strong practicality. Readers can use the example sentences to appreciate the subtle differences between synonyms and understand their usage contexts.
