Features: A group of people go on a pilgrimage to Canterbury, telling many stories along the way. These pilgrims from different social classes have distinct and interesting personalities, and the wonderful stories resemble a medieval scene. Two knights fall in love with the same royal maiden; will the result be joy or sorrow? A rooster is snatched by a wolf; how does it escape the clutches of the beast? The three brothers find either gold or death; what is it? What is a woman's greatest desire—beauty or power? Can loyalty and tolerance truly bring happiness? Chaucer is the greatest writer in British history, hailed as the "Father of English Poetry."
