Features: "The Compendium of Song Ci Appreciation" is part of the Literary Appreciation Compendium series published by our press. As early as 1988, our press published "The Compendium of Tang and Song Ci Appreciation," which was highly favored by readers. As one of the literary forms, Ci reached its peak during the Song Dynasty. People are accustomed to comparing and contrasting Tang poetry and Song Ci, with Song Ci, Tang poetry, and Yuan Qu forming the three major marvels in the history of Chinese poetry. Therefore, a considerable number of readers hoped that our press would publish a standalone "Compendium of Song Ci Appreciation." To meet the needs of readers, our press selected the parts related to Song, Liao, and Jin dynasties from the original "Compendium of Tang and Song Ci Appreciation" and compiled this "Compendium of Song Ci Appreciation."
