For characters with multiple pronunciations, the treatment follows the "Table for the Review of Variants in the Pronunciation of Chinese Words" published by the State Language Commission and other relevant authorities. Definitions are concise and appropriately detailed. Polysemous characters are explained in separate items (①②③). For characters that are not suitable for separate definitions, examples are provided to illustrate different types of usage, helping readers understand various applications. Examples are separated by "|", and the listed characters in examples are replaced with "~". The main text is arranged in Pinyin order. This dictionary includes a "Stroke Index" that lists all the standard characters and their appended traditional and variant characters. The appendix contains the "Phonetic Scheme of Chinese" and the "Table for the Use of Punctuation Marks."
