The book consists of twelve chapters, divided into two parts. The first part covers basic principles of chemical engineering, including fluid flow and transport, heat transfer processes, absorption, distillation, and chemical reactors. The second part covers chemical technology, including the sulfuric acid industry, ammonia synthesis industry, caustic soda industry, petrochemical industry, soda ash industry, polymer chemistry industry, and pesticide industry, as well as relevant review questions and exercises. The last three chapters (marked with "") are not included within the scope of the teaching syllabus and are provided for reference when selected by schools for teaching. In addition to serving as a textbook for chemistry departments in higher normal colleges and vocational colleges, this book can also be used as a reference for other chemical and chemical engineering technicians.
