Features: To more closely align with the new English textbooks and cater to the needs of junior and senior high school teachers and students, based on feedback from readers at various levels, we invited some English teaching experts and teachers to thoroughly review and reflect on the Junior High School English Key Points and Difficulties Handbook and the Senior High School English Key Points and Difficulties Handbook. We decided to make substantial revisions to the book while maintaining its basic framework, adopting a rigorous and realistic approach and a method of leveraging strengths while addressing weaknesses. The revision details are as follows:
1. The "Learning Objectives" section was removed, while "Key Point Guidance" and "Clarification of Difficulties" were retained. This decision was made for two reasons: First, "Learning Objectives" can be fully replaced by the Checkpoint in each unit of the English textbooks, effectively reducing redundant content. Second, the retained two main sections more prominently highlight the book's focus and features—concentrating on solving key, difficult, and confusing issues encountered by readers in English teaching and learning.
2. Some content in "Key Point Guidance" and "Clarification of Difficulties" was integrated or adjusted to more accurately reflect the patterns of English acquisition, further enhancing the book's practicality.
3. At the request of many readers, we revised most of the "Multiple Choice," "Cloze," "Reading Comprehension," and "Error Correction" exercises in the "Grade A / Level 8 Ability Training Questions" for the three junior high school volumes and the "Comprehensive Ability Training Questions" for the three senior high school volumes. Among them, all the "Cloze" exercises were replaced with new content to help readers better digest the textbooks, consolidate their foundational knowledge, strengthen their abilities, and improve their proficiency.
4. To make it easier for readers to evaluate their learning and training outcomes and further improve efficiency, we provided detailed analyses and explanations for the "Multiple Choice," "Cloze," and "Reading Comprehension" questions, offering problem-solving strategies and tips for reference.
