Publish Date: 2006-03-01
Features: Under the organization and guidance of the Law Specialty Committee, this newly compiled series of self-study guides for the National Self-Study Examination in Law was published by Peking University Press. This series of guides primarily features the following characteristics:
1. Authoritative writing team and accurate content. The main compilers of each volume and those participating in the writing are mostly the chief or contributing editors of the self-study course outlines and textbooks for law, or have participated in the question-setting and grading of the course exams, or are experienced scholars engaged in teaching and research on this course in higher education for many years. They are familiar with the course content, have rich experience, and can accurately grasp and reflect the requirements of the outlines and textbooks, ensuring the quality of the guides.
2. Emphasis on guiding and cultivating learning methods and abilities, as well as training and improving exam-taking skills. This series not only provides a comprehensive and concise introduction to the course content but also offers methodological guidance on how to study the course, tailored to the characteristics of self-study exams. Additionally, through test analysis, sample questions, and explanations of exam techniques, it guides students to pay attention to and improve their exam-taking methods. Through problem-solving and exercises, it provides simulated exam training to enhance students' exam-taking abilities.
3. Diverse types, detailed formats, and rich content, integrating learning, practice, and testing. This series combines various styles of previous guides, focusing on course guidance and problem-solving while adding practice and simulated exams. It also includes official past national exam questions and reference answers, as well as recommended legal and regulatory texts for studying the course, as suggested by the chief compilers. In essence, the compilers have collected all the necessary materials related to the course and exam that they could think of, condensing them into one book to benefit students. It should be noted that each chief compiler may have their own choices and adjustments in the format and style of the writing in each volume, so they may not be entirely consistent.
This series is an effort and attempt by the Law Specialty Committee in social assistance for law students. It is hoped that the compilation and publication of this series will truly benefit students in their self-study and exams, contributing to the development of the self-study examination cause.
