Features: In English learning, reading and writing are two very important aspects. Especially in recent years, the proportion of reading and writing has been increasing in various English-related exams. In response to this situation, we have compiled this series of books, "English Reading and Writing Connection Training," based on the national new curriculum standards. This series consists of six volumes, divided into Grades 7, 8, 9, Senior 1, Senior 2, and Senior 3. Each volume is designed according to the knowledge points and reading difficulty of different grades, providing corresponding reading passages and writing exercises. It organically combines reading comprehension with written expression, reflecting the close relationship and connection between reading and writing in English learning.
This series takes reading as the foundation and aims to improve writing skills. It specifically selects reading materials and sets questions such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and sentence-making based on relevant knowledge points from the reading passages. This micro-level practice enhances vocabulary usage and tests grammar mastery. On this basis, it sets questions around word usage, sentence structures, and idiomatic expressions, using them as a bridge to establish the "Writing Extension" section, ultimately achieving the goal of improving readers' writing abilities.
Additionally, in the writing exercises, specific requirements are provided, such as expanding or summarizing reading materials, using certain words, phrases, or sentence structures, and practicing corresponding essay writing based on the genre of the reading passage. During this process, readers need to apply the knowledge points from reading to writing exercises and compare them to identify gaps. This helps readers accumulate experience while improving both reading and writing skills.
