It also facilitates teachers in better organizing instruction. With the aim of serving teaching, the author wrote this book based on the current teaching practices of natural science. Considering the practical co-teaching and separate teaching approaches in junior high school natural science education, the book is organized into four parts: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Comprehensive. Among them, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are divided into several units according to the intrinsic knowledge system of each subject, while the Comprehensive section is divided into three units: Energy and Environment, Interdisciplinary Knowledge, and Comprehensive Scientific Methods. Each unit includes four sections: "Knowledge Summary," "Example Analysis," "Error Analysis," and "Problem-Solving Practice."
"Knowledge Summary" concisely summarizes and organizes basic knowledge, highlighting key and challenging concepts. "Example Analysis" examines typical problems in the unit, demonstrating the thought process of solving them, with a focus on refining and summarizing problem-solving methods. "Error Analysis" identifies common mistakes students make during learning, points out the reasons for these errors, and suggests strategies to prevent them. "Problem-Solving Practice" includes both basic and advanced problems, designed according to the requirements of graduation and college entrance exams. In compiling the exercises, great attention is paid to the connection between natural science knowledge and production, daily life, and technology. Emphasis is placed on training students in open-ended responses and scientific inquiry using material information, aiming to cultivate their good thinking habits and innovative spirit.
