Features: This book is a creative and innovative collection of environmental protection essays, a uniquely distinctive environmental science popular reading material, and currently the only one in China suitable for middle school students and primary and secondary school teachers. The author adheres to the creative principle of unifying scientific rigor with engaging content. Inspired by idioms, the book explores a series of environmental issues, describing the causes and harms of environmental problems to humans in plain, fluent, and elegant literary language, while introducing scientific knowledge and policy and regulatory information on environmental protection. The author has served as a middle school chemistry teacher and has been engaged in environmental monitoring, environmental publicity, environmental management, and environmental supervision. From the dual perspectives of a middle school teacher and an environmental protection professional, the book presents environmental knowledge, achieving both depth and avoiding dry, complex technical terms. It is truly a science popular reading material tailored for middle school teachers and students. This book can serve as a reference for middle and primary school teachers in lesson preparation and as a "tool" for middle school students preparing for the Zhongkao and Gaokao exams. It is also suitable for readers who need to quickly grasp basic environmental protection knowledge (e.g., civil servants).
