Features: Lady Chatterley's Lover is D.H. Lawrence's last novel. At this time, Lawrence had already reached perfection in his portrayal of characters and plot, and had also developed more thoughtful answers to the gender relationships he explored. The inspiration for writing Lady Chatterley's Lover came from a real story. The book tells the story of Constance, who marries the aristocratic landowner Charles Chatterley. War leaves Charles paralyzed for life, and the gamekeeper in the estate rekindles Constance's love for life and passion. They indulge in raw, passionate sex.
