Features: During a hunt for vampires, Lain encounters the beautiful female vampire Omantia and falls in love with her, while also uncovering a huge secret about Lain's background. It turns out that Lain is the mixed-breed son of the powerful and evil vampire Pasiphon and an ordinary mortal man. Pasiphon is obsessed with a cruel game—enticing mortal men to fall in love with her and bear children with her, then killing the father and the child when the child reaches the age of thirteen. Just as Pasiphon killed Lain's father and was about to turn her sights on Lain, the Vampire Hunters' Society rescued Lain and raised him, training him to become an outstanding vampire hunter. When Lain grew up, Pasiphon's dark claws struck again, and he hatched a terrible plot—a conspiracy involving the descendants of the powerful Lyra family in the vampire world. The three formidable female vampires, the Goddess of Ghost Blood Omantia, the Goddess of Ice Asetti, and the Goddess of Ghost Blood Ilina, had once joined forces to seal away the terrifying vampire doctor Ishta. Pasiphon's plot was to awaken the evil Ishta using the magic inherited from Lain. To destroy Pasiphon's, the Vampire Hunters' Society temporarily allied with the forces of the three major vampire families to seal away Pasiphon.
