A Lifetime Literary Treasure: Twenty Novels That Influenced Me. Foreign Edition (Selected Works of Su Tong)

Author: (Austrian) Kafka, selected and edited by Su Tong
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-05-01
Features: Perhaps the novel doesn't deal with any specific issues, but only with how to write. And how to write is an endless question for writers, a perpetual temptation for readers. All surprises from reading will eventually return to the unknown reader's body or deep within their soul. Additionally, just as fairy tales are for our children, I have always believed that short stories are like bedtime stories for adults. To read by candlelight late at night, to ease into sleep with a light read before bed, to touch the world, to start the day in mediocrity and end it in brilliance—how wonderful that is.
