Features: Female students who have passed the voice change period have relatively stable vocal organs, and their timbre tends to be graceful and rich. Male students who have passed the voice change period may already have a male vocal quality in speaking, but their vocal organs still need further maturation and stabilization. Their singing range and vocal control ability are relatively weak. If, without considering the actual conditions of these young students, mixed choir songs for four parts are arbitrarily chosen for performance, not only will the choir performance fail to achieve good artistic effects, but it may also harm the young students' vocal organs and dampen their interest in choir art. Therefore, the revised edition has selected mixed choir songs for two and three parts, which can be used by corresponding teaching classes and also by students for organizing choir activities in their future music education careers. We also hope to draw more attention from colleagues to further explore the physiological and psychological aspects of singing among young students during and after the voice change period, develop mixed choir songs suitable for this group of young students, and promote the healthy development of choir education for them.
