Features: The situation of alternative children is not unique to our country; it exists in almost every nation worldwide. In underdeveloped African countries, the situation is even more severe, while developed Western countries, especially the United States, face equally serious issues. Those who abandon their children without hesitation for personal pleasure may have been influenced by the decadent ideology of the West. Under the influence of such thoughts, they gradually forget their responsibilities and lose their conscience, eventually even abandoning basic familial bonds, leaving their own flesh and blood to suffer. This is truly tragic. Such people may enjoy temporary happiness and satisfaction, but they will ultimately face no good outcome.
The issue now is that at least three things need to be done for the group of "alternative children":
First, use effective methods to quickly rescue children living in hardship, ensuring they can obtain basic living conditions and relatively stable environments for living and studying in a short period.
Second, educate parents who abandon their children for various reasons or neglect their fundamental responsibilities, awakening their basic conscience and humanity.
Third, mobilize and call on society as a whole to take action, paying attention to and protecting "alternative children" who are overlooked—such as street children, disabled children, abandoned infants, and mentally impaired children, as well as all those who have lost familial love. In reality, there’s no need to do much; even a simple act like asking a child, "Are you hungry?" when you see them, or offering them shelter to warm up when they sleep on the streets, or not rushing them when they cross the road—these are all things anyone can easily do without any effort.
