Features: With the deepening of examination activities and the violin teaching practices centered around these activities in social music education, we have been posed a very important question—how to make violin examination textbooks more suitable for the nature and characteristics of professional music education, ensuring that violin examination activities develop healthily along the track of quality-oriented education as required by the Party and the state? This is a matter of great concern to us, as well as to a large number of violin teachers, examinees, and parents. In response to this issue, combining various reflections and opinions gathered over the years from examination activities, with the spirit of continuously improving examination work and being responsible to the people, with the strong support of a wide range of violin experts and teachers, we have researched and revised this new set of violin examination textbooks. In the following years, the China Music will use this textbook as the standard for violin examination activities across the country, hence the name "Standard Textbook."
