Features: Watercolor painting, in its literal sense, is a broad term. Any artwork created using watercolor paint can be referred to as a watercolor painting. For example, various design patterns and poster art. Additionally, there are various subjects and creations that resemble oil painting and watercolor painting, which can also be categorized under this term. However, since the former already has recognized names like "patterns" or "renderings," and is considered part of craft-oriented design expression, in most people's minds, watercolor painting primarily refers to the latter type of painting-based watercolor painting. This has unintentionally made it a specialized term. The watercolor painting discussed in this book also refers to the painting-based watercolor painting.
