Features: After our publishing house released the "Bird and Flower Painting Spectrum" series in 1998, it received widespread praise and recognition from all sectors of society. Especially, the spectra of plum blossoms, orchids, bamboos, chrysanthemums, lotuses, and peonies were particularly favored by readers. In response to the readers' requests, we collected works of six varieties—plum blossoms, orchids, bamboos, chrysanthemums, lotuses, and peonies—painted by renowned bird and flower painters across the country and re-edited them into a series. This series consists of six books: "Famous Artists Painting Plum Blossoms," "Famous Artists Painting Orchids," "Famous Artists Painting Bamboo," "Famous Artists Painting Chrysanthemums," "Famous Artists Painting Lotuses," and "Famous Artists Painting Peonies." Each book collects over 200 representative works by modern artists in different styles on the same theme, including grand freehand, small freehand, and meticulous brushwork. The works fully demonstrate the painters' profound painting skills and outstanding artistic attainments. Most of the works are accompanied by the artists' creative reflections, enabling readers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the painters' techniques and the fundamental process of forming their artistic styles, as well as their artistic concepts. We hope this series becomes a trusted guide and companion for art enthusiasts. During the compilation of this book, we received strong support from renowned artists across the country.
