Features: Freshwater fish farming requires low investment, offers high returns, and yields quick results. It is an excellent way to increase income, improve living standards, and achieve wealth. In recent years, the fish farming industry has rapidly developed like bamboo shoots after rain. However, fish live in complex aquatic environments, and due to poor management, deteriorating water quality, and various diseases and pest invasions, fish diseases frequently occur, sometimes even causing mass fish deaths, severely hindering fish production. To meet the needs of fish farmers, the author has compiled this book based on years of practical experience in fish disease prevention and treatment, as well as recent research findings in fish disease control. The book is divided into five parts: Prevention of Fish Diseases, Diagnosis and Treatment Methods of Common Fish Diseases. It describes over 50 types of diseases, including infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, molds, and single-celled algae, parasitic diseases caused by protozoa, monogenea, digenea, tapeworms, nematodes, acanthocephala, and crustaceans, non-biological diseases, and predators. It introduces specific treatment methods for these diseases. A significant portion of the book is dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of common concurrent fish diseases in grass carp, providing new and effective measures for controlling common and recurring diseases. After introducing the treatment methods of important common diseases, practical examples are provided to illustrate their application process and actual effects. The book is well-organized, illustrated, easy to understand, and serves as a reference for fish farmers, fish disease control workers, and students and teachers of aquaculture programs in relevant institutions.
