Features: In fact, this "Mr. Science" is not modern science in the strict sense, but rather elements of modern science that people have selected and reinterpreted based on China's social conditions. It was used as a tool to criticize traditional Chinese thought, particularly Confucianism and folk beliefs that had long dominated the Chinese people, and to attempt to build a new national spirit on this foundation. "Mr. Science" is a Chinese phenomenon. To allow more people to experience the vivid lectures from Peking University's "Mr. Science" forum and to give readers a sense of being present at the live event while reading, Dr. Zhou Yanling, in collaboration with the author, organized the lectures in a different format during the event. They abandoned the written scripts and had the graduate students compile and organize the audio recordings of the speeches from the past two years into a colloquial presentation. These transcripts were then compiled into a book titled "Peking University's 'Mr. Science' Forum" as a gift to the readers.
