Features: The nearly 80 sets of etudes composed by the Austrian piano educator and composer Carl Czerny in his lifetime were the result of his diligent study of the styles and technical approaches of great musicians such as Beethoven, Mozart, Clementi, and others. At the same time, through extensive teaching practice, he combined various learning needs of students to create teaching materials. Czerny's teaching philosophy was to teach students according to their aptitude. The vast number of etudes he wrote was precisely to achieve this goal, providing with a wealth of resources for selection. Etude No. 748 is a set of exercises specifically designed for a certain type of student—young children with small hands still in the developmental stage. Its smooth finger movements, triad double notes, various skillful ornaments, and repetitive exercises at the same pitch will continue to improve the sensitivity of children's fingers. The difficulty level is equivalent to Etude No. 849. At the same time, this etude has a strong melodic quality and diverse musical charm, making it suitable for students with larger hands as well. They can be used as supplementary materials in other etude textbooks according to teaching needs.
