The series is organized into five major formats and specifications: scrolls, square frames, fan-shaped paintings, round frames, and albums. Each volume features fifty self-drawn examples by the authors, covering aspects such as paper and brush preparation, composition arrangement, the painting process, seal appreciation, and artwork critiques.
