Features: This examination syllabus is divided into nine levels, with Levels and 2 being beginner levels; Levels 4, 5, and 6 are intermediate levels; Levels 7, 8 are advanced levels. After Level 9, our institution has set an additional Performance Diploma level, which exceeds the highest advanced level set by all domestic examination institutions and reaches a performance level suitable for professional development. The compilation of this examination syllabus has the following characteristics:
1. Each level includes prescribed etudes for examination, progressing from simple to complex, systematically training the conventional techniques of the dizi and helping candidates build a solid foundation. In the early stages, the repertoire consists of folk songs, short pieces, and parts for small ensembles; while in the intermediate to advanced stages, it includes dizi solos in various styles.
2. A combination of practicality and (interest). The etudes are composed and selected primarily to meet the technical training needs of the dizi, while also considering the monotony learners may feel during practice. Therefore, most etudes have melodic appeal, making them more effective when performed as short pieces or mini-musics.
3. Modern works are incorporated into the advanced-level training. This allows candidates to broaden their artistic horizons, understand the development of the dizi, and enrich their learning, making it more comprehensive and adaptable to modern society's needs.
4. For the repertoire section, each piece includes performance suggestions that explain the technical key points of different styles, enabling candidates to express the essential content of the music more accurately within limited practice time.
