Playing Bach, Telemann, Mozart, and other outstanding classical masters originally composed for other instruments on the saxophone is indeed a very appealing thing. However, it is regrettable that there is still a lack of easy-to-play yet melodious teaching materials for saxophone lessons. Not-so-difficult pieces can be used by learners who have studied saxophone for one or one and a half years, while more challenging pieces can be learned after three to four years. The pieces collected in this book are arranged in order of difficulty, progressing step by step, and can be used as improvisational accompaniment materials in conjunction with any conventional. The piano accompaniment pieces can be played after studying piano for about four years. Our work in music schools has shown that most students who start learning the saxophone are typically older than those who start learning the piano. Therefore, under ideal conditions, two students of the same age can be enrolled in the same music school and use the current together to play music.
