Features: "Children's Yangqin Basic Practice Collection (Set of 2 Volumes)" Introduction: In 1997, I was invited by China Youth Publishing House to publish "Basic Yangqin Playing Tutorial" (accompanied by two audio cassettes and one video cassette), which was deeply loved by music enthusiasts. It has been reprinted three times so far, and I feel extremely gratified. More importantly, I am full of confidence in the development of the Yangqin music industry in China. "Children's Yangqin Basic Practice Collection" is a set of two practice books invited by China Youth Publishing House to complement the "Basic Yangqin Playing Tutorial," aiming to enrich and strengthen the fundamental training for beginners and intermediate learners. In this collection, the basic bamboo techniques and skills of the Yangqin are categorized and trained individually. Using concise and refined structures, learners can easily grasp and consolidate the content. The bamboo techniques and skill symbols, as well as the professional terms used in the book, are based on those approved at the first National Music and Art College Yangqin Teaching Symposium, striving for standardization and systematicization. This collection adopts both the internationally used five-line notation and the domestically used simplified notation, further promoting the concept of fixed pitch positions (i.e., C major pitch positions) with Yangqin characteristics, laying a solid foundation for modern teaching and artistic practice. Due to space limitations, each exercise cannot accommodate a large amount of content. In the learning process, readers can add corresponding content to consolidate and master the material based on the key points of bamboo techniques and skills before each exercise.
