Of course, some people worry that this format might lack uniformity and may result in repetition. The editors believe there is no need to worry. The format is generally unified, but it is neither possible nor necessary to be as neatly structured as a textbook. The editors recall that when they first entered the field of ancient books edition, they read various books such as Zhang Zhidong's Catalogue of Books Answered, Ye Dehui's Chu Lin Qinghua, Sun Yuxiu's A Study of the Origin of Chinese Woodblock Printing, Ye Changchi's Poems on Book Collecting, as well as bibliographies and prefaces from various authors. It can be said that the books were diverse, yet they were not confined to a single format or framework. Nevertheless, they managed to master the art of edition studies. With ten or so volumes in this series, some repetition in content is acceptable. For example, some may classify Mao Jin's Jigu Ge as a family engraved edition, while others may consider it a workshop engraved edition. Each author writes from their own perspective, offering different insights. A bit of diversity and variety—like a hundred flowers in bloom—is far more interesting than a single flower.
