Features: This art collection includes the author's works from 1979 to 2001 over more than two decades. During these years, I have also traveled across the famous mountains and rivers of our country, experiencing the northern and southern cultures. Whenever I visit a place, nature presents its richness and vastness to me in different ways. I am repeatedly enchanted by its beauty and amazed by its wonders, eagerly grabbing my art tools to capture my feelings and excitement. Whether in the picturesque water towns of Jiangnan or the tranquil mountain areas of the north, I use a sensitive heart to deeply feel every moment of nature's changes and paint the tremors in my soul. In the cycle of time, spring has its brightness, summer its passion, autumn its splendor, and winter its depth. I am amazed by the changing seasons and discover more within them. The richness of nature is an inexhaustible treasure. Every scene and every change of nature is poetry, a painting, a historical chapter, and a display of beauty. The works included in this collection truly carry the author's footsteps across the north and south. I have felt the hustle and bustle of the Zhanjiang docks, experienced the charm of Xishuangbanna, explored the mystery of ancient Huizhou residences, and cherished the tranquility of northern mountain villages. Each landscape has its own uniqueness, and I engage in a heart-to-heart conversation with nature through my brush. I am enchanted by nature, and nature becomes lively through me. In fact, going outdoors to sketch is a very tough thing. To find a scenic spot worthy of painting, we have to carry our painting kits and search everywhere. Sometimes we endure scorching sun, sometimes brave biting cold, and often face sudden rainstorms. If the weather is not cooperative, and on top of that, the paint turns out to be counterfeit, the feeling is truly frustrating, rushed, and exhausting—truly, "how can one word 'tough' capture it all!" While hardship is indeed tough, there are also many joys in it.
