His seal script is ancient, profound, and robust, while his running script/cursive script is elegant, unrestrained, and dynamic. His seal carving ranges from the Qin and Han dynasties to ancient seals, and from the Ming and Qing dynasties to modern styles. His knife work is fluid and expressive, with balanced and flexible layouts, exuding a pure, sturdy, and scholarly aura. Qisen's artworks have been exhibited extensively both domestically and internationally, with several exhibitions held in Japan. In recent years, Qisen has also collaborated with Shanghai zisha teapot master Xu Haishi in artistic pursuits, applying calligraphy, painting, and seal carving to his teapots.
