Xijuan's 2005 New Work Exhibition: Yuan

Author: Xi Xuan
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-02-01
Features: After several years, Xi Xuan revisited the old topic and wrote "Water Love Moon" and "Dip Star." As a series, it takes the wolf world stories to the extreme. It depicts the love stories between the three guardians of the wolf world and the three guardians and three beauties of the human world. This series continues the story of the previously published fantasy series. However, it is not just a case of repackaging old wine in new bottles; instead, it offers a fresh interpretation of life and history. The series of stories "Yuan Xue Ri," "Water Love Moon," and "Dip Star" is a very difficult-to-define novel. Calling it a realistic-themed work, yet it blends mythological stories. Calling it a pure fantasy novel, yet it occasionally features highly realistic elements of real life. Upon closer reflection, it seems there is a variation in writing style within, with something new wrapped inside, presenting what the author wants to express to the readers. It gives the impression of a new model that combines contemporary foreign popular fantasy, mythological, and cartoon styles. If precise language is needed to define it, calling it "New Fantasy Novel" might be appropriate.
