Features: Since the founding of China Procuratorial Daily in July 1991, and especially after its name change to Procuratorial Daily in January 1996, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of China Procuratorial Daily have consistently prioritized strengthening research on press and publication business and related theoretical and cultural development as a key aspect of improving the journalistic and professional standards of editorial staff and promoting the development of the newspaper's business. In this regard, the newspaper has issued a series of regulatory documents, including the "Procuratorial Daily Research Achievement Award Measures" and the "Decision on Accelerating the Cultivation of Renowned Journalists and Editors." Accordingly, the newspaper has taken two approaches: on one hand, it has launched the bimonthly "Editorial Communications" to require all editorial staff to seriously summarize practical experience, explore theories and practices of press and publication, and write and publish academic papers or experience articles; on the other hand, it has organized editorial staff to write, edit, and publish works such as "Exploration in Legal News," "Practicalities of Legal Newspaper Editing," "Review of Research on Duty Crimes," and the "Procuratorial Daily Collection of Excellence" (11 volumes), achieving significant social benefits and certain economic returns. Currently, the people of Procuratorial Daily are engaged in "secondary entrepreneurship." To further invigorate the newspaper's business exploration and theoretical research, accelerate the development of its theoretical and cultural framework, and build a team of renowned journalists and editors in procuratorial journalism, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Procuratorial Daily have decided to establish the "Procuratorial Daily People's Library" Editorial Review Committee, chaired by President and Chief Editor Liu Yousheng, with other leaders, editorial committee members, and heads of key business departments as members. Dedicated funds have been allocated to annually plan, organize, review, and support the publication of various types of works—such as monographs, textbooks, collections, picture books, literary works, and translations—authored, translated, edited, or compiled by the collective or individual efforts of the people of Procuratorial Daily, all related to procuratorial press and publication work. In the future, any publications approved and supported by the newspaper, regardless of the publishing house, will be included in the "Library," with the words "Procuratorial Daily People's Library" indicated on the cover or title page. Together with the various books, charts, and other materials previously organized and published by the newspaper, these will constitute the overall achievements of Procuratorial Daily's theoretical and cultural development. We believe that through this form of publishing support, the "Library," will better inspire the research enthusiasm of the people of Procuratorial Daily, encouraging more research findings or works in fields such as press and publication, law, literature, photography, art, technology, and business management related to procuratorial journalism to be made public, thereby strongly promoting the development of the procuratorial press and publication industry.
