Features: Yuanqu (quyi), classical Chinese, are just as essential to ancient Chinese literature as Tang and Song poetry and ci poetry. Yuanqu is sharp and novel, suitable for both the common and the refined, with distinct characteristics. Classical Chinese encompasses various styles, each with its own unique flavor. They are melodious in rhythm, rich in language, profound in meaning, and pleasing to the ear, having been cherished by people throughout history. In ancient times, children and scholars alike attached great importance to the educational function of literary reading, as it allowed them to fully appreciate the emotions, rhythms, and essence of classical works, delving deeper into their profound meanings. Practice has proven that reading classical Chinese poetry and prose is an effective way to learn traditional culture. In today's effort to build socialist spiritual civilization, promoting the reading of classic literary works is beneficial for enhancing people's traditional cultural literacy, fostering a civilized and harmonious social atmosphere, promoting social righteousness, and refining people's moral and aesthetic sensibilities. For this purpose, we have adapted and published "Poetry and Painting · Three Hundred Yuanqu," "Literature and Talent · Two Hundred Classical Chinese Pieces," and "·" and "·," which complement the earlier published "·" and "·." To suit readers with a medium level of education, we have added pinyin annotations to obscure characters that are difficult to read or recognize and to polyphonic characters that are easily mispronounced, as well as underlined famous lines for easy identification.
